One of our colleagues has just been sacked for willful delay. He is long service, what way does his pension now work. Will he get it at 60.

It will be deferred in the same way as if he'd left the company in 'normal' circumstances.

is he guilty with no chance of reprieve?
my best mate got the sack over 5 or 6 letters 3 years ago despite he did loads of extras
yet over the last few years i see loads of mail left every day, only this thursday i got asked to pop a tracked in that had been left by some runners,
discipline seems to vary so much from office to office.
