Handing in notice. Is it 1 week or 5 working days?

I've had enough and am going to hand in my notice.

What exactly is the notice period. Is it one week or 5 working days?

Had a hard time getting to sleep last night but I'm going to hand in my notice today. Have it typed up and it's ready to go.

I haven't got another job to go to but the misses and I went through the figures last night and we can survive just on her salary. I feel like I've wasted 3 and a half years with this company. It's not the job so much. It's the incredibly crappy managers who expect you to work over all the time and bully and harass you if you don't.

Instead of quitting just work to your time and ignore the managers. If you are prepared to quit anyway, it would make sense.

Goto your doctor . You have very sore knees . You think you have torn a ligament or something . He gives you a line . You get paid . By the time the MRI scan appointment comes around you have been paid full pay for 3 or so months . THEN pack it in saying you cant work anymore as your knees wont last .

My leaving was like this BUT I did tear stuff in my knees so im legit BUT they don't know any better if someone else is fibbing . Might get as much as you can from them .

Exactly, as long as you work at a reasonable rate they can't do a thing about it. If you don't feel you can face up to the manager(s) concerned then go to your doctors and get signed off with stress.

Don't resign yet, you have 6 months sick pay to rightly claim for B&H first, while you're off put in grievances against each bullying manager.
