Think its 25 or so for a walk frame.. If you get to know the frame you will speed up .

The national agreement on Individual Performance Standards can be viewed on the CWU website. Look on the left hand side near the top for Agreements then click link for IPS or Individual Performance Standard.

Likewise from memory I am sure it is a 1 minute test only and the expected rate is 25. Failing this suggest you do an immediate search on the CWU website for IPS searchto be done under the LTBs - Letters to Branches.

Hope this helps with your query.

This is a juciy topic i belive it is 25 a minute, some boys at our office
were tested today but they counted all the mail in the frame and divided it by
the time spent on prep is this normal practice (no allowances for missorts ect)or needing a pee!

IPS sorting is about 25 per minute

prep rate for a RM2000 is supposed to be 12-13 per minute (RM accepted rate), this will take into account throwing your mail in and prepping up, if your walk is getting tested the likes of dead letters, missorts, re-direction will all be taken into consideration.

prep rates are all bollocks RM are making up as they go along i was prep tested about 10 weeks ago and the guy who tested me didn't even know what or if there was an agreed rate he seemed to think somewhere in the region of 9 a minute. However nothing ever came of it, its just another tactic by RM to try and intimidate you bully and harrass you. Next it will be if you dont prep by X time we will stop your pay and then if you cut off will we stop your pay, been there seen it got the T-shirt. still going. :nana :nana :nana
