angaard staff

i wondered if there is a national agreement on what angaard staff can do? are they limited to working in mail centres and the like, or are they allowed to do deliverys and collection work?

There is, as far as I know, no national agreement between the Union and RM about Angard employees. However, although generally they work in MCs we have had some Angardies doing delivery work, and some have posted on here as well.

thanks for reply, ive nothing against angaard employee's, i have a great deal of sympathy for them the way they are treated, but we are having a issue here where staff from rm's agency are being brought in to do duty and s/a work, and they are obviousley on a much lower rate of pay.

I think it costs RM more as I think Angard is part owned by Reed. RM probably have to pay Angard £10-15 an hour when it'd probably be cheaper to get someone in on ot
