not sure if I can get the advice I need, but it#s worth a try,

cut a long story short, my half brother cleaned our father's accounts, plus his funeral money, and i'm taking him through the small claims court, to get the money back that I had to pay for our father's funeral,

Northampton county court appointed my local court to hear the proceedings, but now my half brother has made an application for it to be moved to his local court,
with the reasons that it would be considerable time off and costs for him to come to my local court, which is the place he stole our father's money,
but it's exactly the same for me to go the other way, plus I have a disabled son, and an 80 plus year old witness to be heard at the court,

can I refuse this, I have now been allocated a time for a conference call,
anyone dealt with anything like this, need urgent info please,

if you are a union member then i think you can get some legal advice for free with simpson and millar.

far as i know mate the court hearing will be at the court you put the case in. fact he aint local aint your problem and i for 1 wouldnt budge on him getting his way where it be held. good luck in your case and hope you got and geting good advice. check your home insurance, you may have legal advice on it
