£1200 is a lot of money i'd gladly lose a few days pay for it. union is too soft

it could feed into the Bullying and Harassment culture within Royal Mail argument. The Union could use it as an example of how differently they treat managers and workers,. Okay on its own its weak but it could help the overall picture.

A 24hr postie I know has been an acting manager for last year or so and recons he got the bonus. £1000 is £20 a week for grovelling up the DIMS bottom all year long. Most of us wouldnt lower ourselves. Funny thing is about 2 years ago the DIM promissed him a full time contract was `coming soon` so he has been brown nosing ever since then, pitiful

Fairly confident in office wich management class a a Millitant office we would not strike.!

If you look at the deal we got last time indoor workers get the same as Delivery staff yet on occasions we have 5 +D2D

It would be scary to go on strike again ,Dave and co proably agree pay rise for indoor workers and large pay cut and 8 hr hour delivery spans..
Sold down the river last time ,Breandan Barber went on tv saying deal of the century,dont see them doing delivery !!!

The perception, true or not, is that the CWU look after the mail centres, and have shafted delivery workers who have had increased workloads for no extra time to complete their duties. Not to mention the decrease in pay ( loss of D2D payment, loss of NDA etc. )

If by "look after" you mean "shut most of",then you are right.End of the day we are all payed by the same company and represented(don't laugh) by the same union.

We should all stick together in this,even if RM and CWU seem to prefer to set us against each other!
