To advise people that they were sick during half term last year and to hope that they feel ok this year! Anyone else received them, I remember something like this happening a few years ago, was an ltb sent out with advise? I think they are taking the piss!

A woman in our office who regularly goes sick during the summer after having two weeks off officially didn't get the summer leave this year. the office waits with baited breath to see if she'll take 4 weeks off sick this year. The DOM mentioned the sickness when she complained about not getting summer off.

Reckon it's those that pull sickies during skool hols are the ones taking the piss - I have a teacher wife - if our holidays match up - huzzah !!! Otherwise we get on with it ...

(But I won't be working my day off next week mind )

I had one last year that basically said ' you were off during December last year.. is there anything we can do to helpp you.... etc ?'

More bullying tactics by the management.

In theory they can make you work until your proper finish time. But if they start doing that. Make sure you go in at the correct time and have your full meal relief.

'The caring employer'...still. What a load of old s**t, I'm glad I'm out of it. They certainly love to send this stuff out, several years ago I was off sick for 2 weeks and in that time recieved 6 letters enquiring after my health. 2 of them came on the same day, 1 was SD and the other with the morning delivery.
The worst is yet to come!
