how many have done extra hours to make up when sent home, and how many have been told they must make up the time later?
our onion rep does not know the craik either way and asked for help.
surely this is a national agreement , but the office i went to today were quite happy to work that bit extra, nowt wrong with that if you have an happy office though.

The answer to this is to stay at the depot until your finish time. That way you are making yourself available for work and therefore Royal Mail must pay you. If the Manager refuses to allow you to stay at the depot until your finish time, then you have been denied the option to work if work is feasible and available, and therefore again they must pay you and cannot bank this time to another date.
