One of my mates had a interview few weeks ago. Got turned away for not have paper driving license. Few months later reapplyed but didn't get a interview that time around. Has again this week reapplyed. Do you think they won't interview him? Is there like a period between times that U can't apply. Or do U think his first interview failure has gone against him??

I wouldn't think it would be held against him to get another interview. I had an interview in October 2011 and failed it, I think the reason I failed was that I was asking about transfers to my most local office and they didn't like the idea that in a few months I'd be trying for a transfer.

It then took me fifteen months and sixteen job applications to get another interview, which I passed and was offered the position I am in now.

I became quite paranoid over it and in August last year I emailed HR in Sheffield asking if my failing the initial interview would be held against me as I had applied for many vacancies and had never got one interview. The HR manageress said it would not be held against me and the reason why I had not got another interview was that there were probably applicants living closer to the offices than me. Which makes sense to me.

I received an email after the first interview stating I had failed and saying I would have to wait SIX months from the date of the interview before I could reapply for another position. However, since then I've noticed they've cut the period down to just one month.

I would suggest your friend should read the email, I'm guessing he got after his interview.

My contract was cancelled when i was off sick But ive had a interview at the same office since but did not get the job , the positive i took from it was that they considered having me back

But ive applied for 3 other local offices but had no joy at all , iam not going to give up though
