Mail segregation

Post by toyraman »

How often Royal mail audits mails from the post office branches?
How do we get the mixed bag right?
Can anyone give us ideas to improve our mail segregation at the post office.
Thank you.

If you join the Postmasters Branch of the CWU, they supply all the information you are looking for and more on their web site and chat forum, they have downloadable forms and templates, there is a particularly good one for mails segregation.

Send me a PM if you want to join.

The short answer is yes, but then he/she would miss out on the opportunity to join a Branch that would provide help and support for many other issues.

There are too many Post Office counters workers out there on their own and not getting the right kind of help. POL dont give a toss, nor does that joke of a Union the NFSP

Bollox! And if we had the same attitude on here, join our union before we help you!?

This is a free forum for everyone,no membership of any union is needed to post and get help, the same goes for the PO forum.

If you're not willing to help those who post on here without them joining either The CWU,NFSP or any other union then don't post anymore.

Don't take the piss out of those who are looking for help!

.... and your stance is to limit the information to only Union members - If I may be so bold that goes against EVERYTHING RoyalMailChat was set up for.

So if I have understood you correctly, there is no need to join a Union, cos this site will provide you with everything you need to know.....for FREE !

Wow why didn't I think of that?

Hey the guy wanted to know where to get the information, I told him where, and yeah you have to join the Union first cos thats how Unions work.

Problem?

Don't talk....you know how we work on here, there is no problem at all in informing RMC members about the union,we do it all the time and we encourage as many as we can to join,if anything we've probably done more recruiting than most.

But we also help them as well which is what this site is all about,if you can't help and can only sell subscriptions, then don't bother.

Maybe HQ need to contact them all again, because at the last count at the NEC By-Election only 188 had joined.

Oh and apologies for the low blow here, good luck...
Ours and he's yours now as well Andy wrote:POL has simply reiterated its view that our members are overpaid (by one-third) compared with people working in franchised and Sub Post Offices. Clearly, POL is ignoring the fact our members are highly skilled, professional individuals, who are dedicated to their jobs whilst providing excellent customer service. Our members deserve better!
