Wasn,t aware that a fifth level was available or within health and safety guidance. I would check with h&s rep. I quite often struggle on level 4 so turn a box or two upside down and stand on them. I know, absolutely a know know as far as h&s is concerned, but what can you do if your back is giving you sh.t

As far as i know the 5th level should not be used for mail slots.I was told this by a manager when setting out my revised walk a few years ago which would go half way across a 5th level....have to use double slots on the (normally) lighter parts/flats of the walk.

I don't think you are allowed to use the very top of the frame for prepping letters, I think a member of staff in my office actually received compensation from Royal Mail after injuring himself prepping letters on the top row of his frame you should get in touch with your union rep with regards to your problem.

Can't find any documentation on it,i'm sure there is something out there though as again i'm sure i've seen it,but it's a 100% no no to use the top one for prepping.

Your screws should not of allowed you to use it,you should of told them you're not going to use it,your rep and coach should of said the same.

I think you need to go to area level,you 'could' suffer long term damage over this.

My duty is prepped for me and the fifth top frame is used for the small packets ?

Fifth frame, sandwiches, bar of chocolate, leggings, circulars, D2D sheets, redirections, spare P739s, redirection bags etc etc.
