Allowance Entitlement/pro rata payments

I started as a part-timer in 2007 and am on a 25hr a week contract. Since my start i have covered various duties, with some driving duties using the High-top vehicle and some starts at 4.45am. I currently get the delivery supplement of £13.51 per week. I regularly cover full time workers and very rarely work a 25hr week and would guess i average between 35 and 40 hrs per week throughout the year. Every pro rata payment i get is for the 25hr contract. Question is for early starts and driving should i get some allowance or if i work a 40hr week should i get the full delivery supplement, and is pro rata always taken for contract hours or ever taken for average hours worked.

It's paid by your contracted hours and is unfairly paid as some part timers work more hours than full timers.

PTimers who do more than their contracted hours are paid at a slightly higher hourly rate for all overtime up till 39/40. This is to cover the Delivery Supplement for the extra hours.

Early starts shift allowance in most delivery offices has been removed as have most driving allowances. The only DO staff who will get ESA allowance will be those working nights or starting around 5am.

On driving allowances only grandfather rights now apply if the driver is still driving the vehicles that got the allowance. There may be some allowances but I think they start at the 600 size not the High Tops. However, I am not very sure of this so wait for confirmation or correction.

I think the high tops still attract a driving allowance.
I know in a delivery office near me they have one, and the 4 drivers rotate the duty that uses it to ensure everyone gets a slice of the pie.

Vans with gvw weight of 3500 Kg and over attract a driving allowance of £29.23.
