Well, just received my letter from the DSM telling me that the mail will arrive at random times and that they'll be adjusting routes as they see fit. OK, he used more words than that, but that's pretty much the gist.

Is it the same letter that they send out to everyone.............59m letters, new technology, mail later, massive asteroid collision, alien invasion, end of the world........I may have zoned out when reading these letters and just make it up myself, after all, that's exactly what then managers do

It came with the other D2Ds that I opted out of receiving when individual payment for them ceased, delivered by a guy I've never seen before- after lunch as opposed to around 10:30am. Now, this round has always been one that only starts at about 9am as the postie does delivery, parcels and then collections, a bit like I used to. I hope this new guy (and he was definitely a new guy, he had that frightened rabbit look on his face when I told him about the opt out, and no-I don't usually have that effect on people!) isn't having to do the same duty with the same times because he'll be out until midnight at the rate he was going. Bless him. Looks like P&L has arrived though as he was using a golf trolley, a new one at that, and it's always been done with just a van before now.

And, not wanting to sound even more like one of those people who complains about the mail (seeing as it doesn't really bother me what time it arrives I might add), we seem to go days without seeing a postie and then get a load on one day... like today. Now, I tend to get a few letters a day due to me dealing with the fundraising group stuff so it's unusual to have nothing for nearly a week.

On the plus side, my P800 arrived and I'm due a tax rebate

He was using a trolley...well he will soon get out of doing that ...ours are all lined up on the loading bay....they look like Posties tombstones.
