"Animal farm" delivery spans after P&L

Duty with ~500 calls; bit of an incline on most of round; lot of gates and/or outer porch doors to open/close; houses set at least 5 metres from the pavement; high call rate and hammered with packets (3 bags) needs HCT replenishment of 3-7 drop bags most days; 30 minutes of travelling as walk in pretty linear going away from depot; typically takes 4.5-5.5 hours to deliver plus outdoor meal relief. Can easily leave the last 25% and still do well to finish on time.

Duty with ~700 calls; very flat except one steep section of ~30 metres; few gates and/or porch doors to deal with; houses ~3 metres tops from pavement; more normal call rate of ~80% and 2 bags of packets means only 1/2 replenishment drop bags; no travelling time as walk starts immediately outside depot; 4 hours delivery span plus meal relief. Shocked to hear duty holder cuts off the last 25% everyday without fail.

Maybe my few sample days from round 2 were not typical days, while I have done round 1 numerous times.

Obviously in order to complete some walks - four legs good, two legs bad.

But it's the "four wheels good, two wheels bad" policy that has had vans and HCTs replacing bicycles.
