My light duties started 5th dec with pain around my knee and unable to walk without severe pain and taking pain killers,i had a bout of 6 week physio in january was told i pulled the patella muscle, which is when i developed a bad back ( pain was so bad in leg couldnt tell to the back ) i had a stage 1 issued last year after doc signed me off for 2 weeks and atos agreed, i then had a mouth ulcer where i looked like elephant man on my sons birthday of all days rang up said wont be in explained best i could while dribbling lol which triggered stage 2 ,
In all my time on light duties i was treated like a goffer go here do this do that still full hours but they really wore me down scrapping the barrel, i had to bag up old 739 cards in to sacks weighing them, tidy boxes, push yorks everything after half delivery aswell mind, line manager walking the isles watching me, even accused me of not being where i was even when told by another member of staff i was ( they would ring my mobile so say) even tried conduct code after i got very frustrated with the bullying and snapped, union stepped in thank god lol. anyways when i started the frp i was due best part of a month off but i decided to basically work 2 mondays of leave to do it, to show i was willing to be back on duty, i started on nights for 2 weeks after my leave finished i assumed it was going to be a transfer do to unable to do delivery, all was going good started to get hang of where i had to sign on what moved where etc,
1st week after 4 days of standing for 7 hours and pushing yorks i asked manager for 5mins sit down pain got bad this is when c##p hit fan the new line managers hadnt been informed i was under atos for knee and back pain they got told i was fit enough to stand for the duty, i also felt ill 1st week plodded on by end of second week i had to go home as was sick, great i thought just what i need, i turned up for work on the monday after physio to be told should be back on delivery except ( no contact from delivery manager ) i WAS NOT TOLD they allowed me t work spoke with rep he said to still turn up for nights, when i spoke with line manager in morning ( ok one ) he assured me he didnt know anything and will get dom to contact me when i woke up, he tells me to go in on delivery duty manager in mail centre was adiment im back to delivery. my manager informed me they said i was always late ( always early neighbour works there so she saw me) reluctant to change ( never just asked what had to go where etc) didnt like my work ethic ?????? night union rep spoke with managers they had NO ISSUES so sort of think they just excuses ( dom earned nickname silent assain lol )
so after taking half day basically for being sick while at work ( i worked 4 hours ) i have now triggered a stage 3, oh and i used to have my own duty except my dom has resigned saying im unfit to do it ( fair enough ) BUT was resigned before i started nights and advertised before i went on annual leave, union rep i feel is getting on for a suck up to managers as he let it happen as well, manager knows how i feel that i want ihr BUT i feel he will use the stage 3 to sack me instead.
I did have another half day sick back in januaryish throwing up aswell every body commented i looked very ill but manager was more concerned i preped a round 1st lol maybe it has all tallied up i dont know feel like im up the creak with out a paddle now know where to turn STILL in pain with the knee keep being told its all muscle related, physio reckons as i been on light duties doing half round so long my stamina is low and to get back to it hahaha i can walk an hour straight before i get bad pain, when they check its 6 MINUTES on a tread mill, even failed last assessment as i twisted my ankle on the saturday assessment was on the monday and was limping lol.
