I found an extra payment on my wage slip today for Bonus Payment Business performance.

how much extra did I get in my pay packet?

2p, yep a whole 2p.

I think I will save it up and if the same payment happens for the next 50 years I will have a whole pound to spend.

One bloke on our section got about 14 quid. I got zero. Zilch. Nadda. Nothing. Mine's an ex-bonus. It's run down the curtain and gone off and joined the choir invisible. :Boo hoo!

so any idea on how they work out who gets what?

I thought we all worked for the same company therefore we should all get the same performance bonus payment, but then this is RM. :Applause

In addition overtime and Scheduled Attendance hours paid at single standard pay rate to part-time employees in the 2011/12 financial year will be paid as an additional lump sum on 20th July 2012 (July salaries for monthly paid), subject to an overall combined cap of £100 per person.
In plain speak they add up the overtime you've done over the past financial year,divide it by 52 to get your average weekly overtime then top up your contractual performance bonus to reflect the actual hours worked last year.

I think normally they would have done it all at once but there was an embarrassing rush to pay out the bonus in June before the financial results....and Moya's bonus were published.

fishtank but I did sh*t loads of overtime over the last year but still got 3p.

I got £1.83, this is the most random payment I have seen, but its better than nothing I guess.

So an £80 overall bonus (original payment plus new one tomorrow) means a postie has worked 80% of the contract hours of a full-timer i.e. ~32 hours per week over the last 12 months? Sounds about right...
