Small Bike

If you are put on a walk and the bike to be used is for small people yet you're tall do you still have to ride it? Bike I was on today gave me back ache!!! Also if out on bike doing a round and you get mis-sorts do you have to dleiver them all?

i know some people are very protective of "their" bikes but have you tried asking to swap with someone else?
some of the bikes at my place have quick release saddles so if i can't adjust the one I'm on, I hunt out a shorty, and as long as i remember to put it back to how it was, most are more than happy to swap for the day.

but then i work in a friendly office, so might not be an option for some

Dunno about swapping but there are never any spare bikes. I did raise the seat up but I am 6'4 and its impossible to heighten the handlebars (without tools) which is the problem as my back is bent forwards from the high seat to the low handlebars hence back pain. Also the seat seems to sink as the day goes on lol.

My other question regarding missorts? Do we need to deliver all of them? If there's loads, lets say because you ain't done a walk before or thrown it up, then are you expected to go around your delivery doing em at the end?

If the bike is too small (although I thought they only came in one size) then tell your DOM that it is and get him to sort it out, maybe a HCT would be better for you.

As for your missorts.............if you take them out then you deliver them (just as long as you have the time or you want the OT).

lol at video see what he can do on a RM bike huh! Missorts - always bought em back rather than go out of way to deliver em even if had time. Hasn't been a problem in some offices I worked at. Guess I should try harder.

They do (or did!) come in two frame sizes (co-incidentally small and large) so you use the size that is appropriate for you.

If only a small framed is available and you are too large to use it, then don't! It's up to management to provide you with the correct tools to do the job.

Where are you? how dare you nick my bike. Wondered what happened to it, manager said it was in for repairs!
