Delivery Revisions – Model Agreement v1

Attached to this LTB is a nationally agreed Model Agreement to be used for all delivery revisions. The model agreement is due to be signed off at phase 4 of the revision process and the sign off is set to trigger the process for paying the lump sum(s) appropriate to the revision so that lump sums are paid in the week of deployment.

The model agreement also records the traffic baselines (model week), agreed level of indoor performance, duty structures, FT:PT ratio and number of Saturdays off etc… which will assist in any future disagreements and also help to track revision progress and benefits received by our members.

All delivery units should jointly complete the model agreement and copies should be sent to the CWU Divisional Rep(s) and the Outdoor Dept as soon as possible. These agreements will be tracked against revision progress/deployment which is a regular item on the agenda for national fortnightly meetings between Royal Mail and the CWU Outdoor Dept. Where the deployment programme indicates a revision has gone in and no model agreement has been received this will be chased up by the national parties to see why. It is important therefore that these documents are completed and sent to the respective parties as a matter of course.

There is also a sign off required from the CWU ASR to confirm all H&S aspects have been covered off and deployed in the revision.

The requirement to complete the model agreement takes effect immediately.

Any other versions of a model agreement presented to Representatives or found in circulation should be ignored and reported to the CWU Divisional Reps and the Outdoor Dept without delay.
