My driver on P/L saw on the weekly rota put up on the board this week by the line manager and it showed that he was on annual leave.
my driver knew that he had holiday coming up so he thought it was his week off.
Wednesday afternoon( 2nd day) the line manager realised he had made a mistake and got it wrong.
He rings the driver up and he comes back today (thurs).
Question I'm asking is how do they get round this as he has booked all his annual leave for this year, do they
1/say he (line Manager ) was at fault and pay him the 2 days
2/ say tough , I'm taking two days from your next lot of holiday
3/ not pay him
4/ ask him to come in on his day off for 2 weeks to make it up

Re: more advice
It's a joint responsibility thing.
You book the holidays...you should know when you're off.
The sensible approach is to find a way to pay back the 2 days that suits both parties.
Probably not a popular answer but...there you go.
