When should purchased annual leave be allocated?

Hi

Does anyone know if there are any rules on WHEN holiday, which has been purchased, can be booked in?

I haven't been able to get the choices I wanted from my normal entitlement (i dont purchase any additional leave) but there are people in my office who have booked in their "purchased" weeks along with their normal entitlement. Isn't there some rule somewhere that says purchased leave should only be picked after regular entitlement has been chosen by the whole office?

Any advice appreciated.

Purchased leave is booked last. First two weeks then your next two wo weeks or if you have more holidays due to length of service you book all that up be it three weeks or four weeks because it is pro rata holiday then the purchase leave guys book their holiday in cos they have bought them fro RM

it depends on your office "local agreements"

In my office we book the first 2 weeks on seniority then the second 2 weeks on reverse seniority then it is first come first served for all remaining leave (and no i do not agree with the system of longest service getting first pick each time).
