Waiting for stage 3 result

I had a stage three interview 3 weeks before Christmas ( yes right at the start of the pressure), and now I am still waiting for the outcome, when I last enquired before xmas I was told there were "further investigations".

I've since been told that they wouldn't be stupid enough to sack me during Christmas pressure, but now the pressure is off, I'm more likely to be given the heave ho.

What is considered a reasonable waiting time for a result. ?

Had it come through the post on Thursday last week, knocked back to a stage 2, no right of appeal against the decision, and they are still having a go at me for not reporting the first accident which caused the problem.
I would have thought having a manager coming out in a van to fetch you back because you could no longer cycle or walk, was as good as reporting it, but apparently no, even after two lino's asking me "What's up" and getting a detailed explanation, I am still "gulity" of not reporting it, so what am I supposed to do, fire up the office PC and fill in the f****** form myself ?

To the OP, obviously your time off was due to illness. Did you get to see the ATOS Dr? Which is normal when a S3 is triggered. I think the longest I waited for one of my S3 outcomes was a month. Hopefully no news is good news. Remember you can appeal a S3. Make sure you go over all previous paperwork and see if they've crossed all the T's and dotted the i's. LM's make a lot of mistakes at S1 & S2.
