Bus fares going into wages????

Anyone heard this? Supposedly happening this week obviously to those offices who dont have P&L.

Told by our dom sup that its deffo happening but havent seen nything on hear to suggest anyone else has been told this.

Plus its tax deductable, that cant be right surely.

I was told about this today at our office, It's true but I live locally and don't know if I would qualify for bus fares anyway. Just another way to tax you

Tax deductable means you don't pay tax on it (because it is a business expense)... what is wrong with that?

can you please explain in more detail,i get a lift out in the van to start duty,but when finished get the bus back to the office at a cost of £1.25,so 5 x £1.25 will be going into my wages?

CAN PEOPLE KINDLY EXPLAIN TO ME WHY T&S IS BEING USED TO SUBSADISE BUS FARES

WHER IS THE VAN SHARE (PARK AND LOOP)

THE BUSINESS HAS AN OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE THE TOOLS FOR THE JOB

WHERE DOES WAITING FOR A BUS FIGURE IN THE DELIVERY SPAN AND IPS/IWT TIMINGS

if you have had a revision then fine

if not then you use cycles and get takEN to your first delivery point by van if to far to cycle

How the system to work ? Do I need to provide a receipt every week or not.

We ALWAYS get bus fares to our first delivery point, paid cash, on a Monday or Tuesday.

There used to be a people carrier that conveyed posties to a certain area but that is long gone.

We used to get double bus fares when we returned to office but we dont do that since they scrapped 2nd delivery.

If I get taxed on it do I get on the bus for 25% less?? Doubt it.

Will I get an extra days payment if I work day off???
