Ballots for industrial action - KA/DG

4 units in KA and 1 unit in DG are balloting for Industrial action in 2012.

4 Units in KA introduced delivery methods revisions in 2010 and received £200 lump sum in April 2011. Walk sequenced mail introduced in August 2011, start time retarded, and indoor savings made. RM refuse payment of £800 lumps sums pending another revision. IR framework exhausted.

1 unit in DG balloting over similar issue.

In my opinion we should be balloting all units in Scotland, but it's not my call. I judge new duties under revisions on whether they are do-able by a 65 year old without killing them. They are not fit for purpose and RM are pushing on.

We have done all we were asked to do under BT2010 and are due the money, the 39 hour week, one in four Saturdays off while protecting full time jobs. It seems the only way to get it is by balloting.
