There are rumours going around that Marlow and Bourne End DO's are going to be moving to Maidenhead in Jan / Feb time.

Anyone know anything about this,A few have asked the DOM and he knows and won't let on anything.

also if we are to be re-located, do we get travel expences from our old DO to the new one and how much notice are RM required to give us?

also some of the posties can't drive therefore can't get to the "new" delivery office, would RM collect said posties in the morning or just relieve them of their jobs?

They're not giving you much notice are they if it's this Jan/Feb?!

Our DOM knows what is going on and when but likes to keep everything close to his chest.

we have been asking for our holiday forms for next year since late september and he keeps saying he can't give them out until he gets confirmation from HR. ( complete bollocks )

so I have a feeling he knows that all holidays will need to be fitted in with new DO and we wont get them until we have moved in with Maidenhead. ( or could be that I am just over dramatising the whole thing )

the new location is currently being built on the car park at Maidenhead DO and RM stand to make a small fortune when they sell our current DO as the front is a georgian house fronting onto Marlow High Street. ( so will become either a resturant or coffee shop as marlow High Street does not have enough of those yet. . . . NOT!!! )

You'll only get the difference in mileage - if it's equidistant from your home to the new DO or less you won't get anything.

any move like this will come under M.T.S.F. AGREEMENT

those staff who do not drive will have to go into discussion

ANY MOVE LIKE THIS UNDER THE MTSF WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE STATUTORY 90 DAY CONSULTATION PERIOD

our union rep quit about a month back and so far no one has taken up the mantel.

when asked about the non drivers the dom gave a " who cares about them " look and did'nt really give an answer.

like I said earlier in the post, our DOM like to keep it all cloak and dagger and does not really tell us anything at all.

so if this stat 90 day discussion period is to take place, would we have to be notified of it at all, or wuold we just be told say 28 days before hand?

IF NOT, DO A STAGE 1 DISAGREEMENT AND I WILL DRAW UP THE PAPERWORK FOR YOU TO GIVE THE DOM
