Bye Bye 10 Minute Grace Break

As others on here have said RM are focusing on saving on indoor hours.

Was told this morning at our WTLL session that 100BSI is the figure RM will be using to base all duties on, and that they are going to use the IWT as an individual performance tool for those not achieving this.

They were told that this was not to be used as an individual performance tool but a whole office measure, only agreed tests were the 1 minute tests, - the DOM just replied this is what we have been told to do.

Someone mentioned that 100BSI could not be reached due to the 10 minute grace break - the reply we were given was that the grace break is not compulsory and was down to RM's descretion were time exists. RM are going to ensure that everyone is either double or treble prepping or starting later to ensure there is no spare time and thus do away with the grace break.

Could Dingo or someone in the know confirm weather this is true ?

How do we go about tackling this issue when it arrives ?

Sorry to say i believe they are right regarding the grace break, i believe its if workload permits. They are just wrong on pretty much everything else, 100 bsi is an ideal. I always argue that RM has never been that sort of working environment and a "no talking" environment their bosses want will be horrible for everyone, including themselves and overall moral and then performance will drop.

Most of the time they agree, until the DSM visits then they poo themselves and act like little Hitlers.

You could always argue that if this applies to staff it should also be echoed by managers. For our lazy, coffee swilling, smoking, cob eating lot that makes them think twice.

They are right about the grace breaks(in the sense that it can be taken away)everything else is bullshit,flag it to area.

we have not agreed BSI 100 if we had it would be in the agreement.
