Why is it whenever I ask for a particular day off, or even mention having a SAT/MON and trying to give the lino a bit of notice about it, I get blank stares and no answers, yet every other person in the office seems to get theirs, don't reserves get days off on the rotate ?

you should be given the day off that is scheduled on the duty for reserves or floaters should get their own rotational day off

I understand that, but it's hard to keep track when you day off seems to follow no pattern, the last three weeks it's been a Thursday, next week it's Tuesday !

If you mean you are off Tuesday 30 August enjoy it cos it's the day after the Bank Holiday
