Stage 3 warning

Can anybody help? I have been a postman for sixteen years; and my attendance pattern has been good and consistent. However, over the past two years, I have suffered with some minor ailments and swine-flu (during the pandemic). I was about to clear the Stage 2 this June, when I suffered an acute bout of work-related depression which left me absent from for two months. Following a rehab. plan, I gradually returned to my old delivery this month. I thought everything was getting back into place. This afternoon, Thurs 18 Aug 2011,
I noticed hand-delivered letter from Royal Mail in the Hall. It informed me that the management were considering my dismall becaue of unacceptable attendance. It seemed very strange to issue this after I had suffered a sever bout of depression; and also for the letter to be hand-delivered. (Why not give it me in the Delivery Office).


Any thoughts: any help. I enjoy my job and don't want to lose it. The CWU rep. has been informed.

get the area rep to attend interview with you . did you get a referal to atos? if so should be helpful as depression is listed under dda . best of luck.
