advice needed ..

have worked in delivery for many a year at the same office seen many staff come and go some nice people, some tossers for the want of a better word.the trouble is i have a cycle duty at the moment and have had the same duty for over 3 years now,customers know me well and i have a good relationship with them,especially xmas LOL.we are only a small office,thing is i am getting very cheesed of with getting moved to various driving dutys which i do not want the hassle of doing,the dom says can you help us out etc were really short of drivers,but staff who have only been there for 5 mins compared to me never get moved to other dutys,i am really getting depressed about this and have actually been to the docs today,becuase of my lack of sleep and stress ive had lately,i just want stability keeping on my own duty.would anybody recommend me to give up driving can i do this can i mention this to the dom,or should i stay on driving with park and loop just around the corner.it cheeses me of when other people never get moved

You have made a rod for your own back by driving for him in the first place.
Have you done the change over??? If not you shouldnt be driving anyway

if other staff can drive its victimisation tell him its ok now and again but he must use other staff to (he will s**t his pants)

sorry to hear this mate - how did you get on at doc ? i have been off as same feelings as you and i lost my duty of 8 years ! its not just the loss of duty - its the atmosphere within the job and more importantly the workload i just cant cope with - ive gone from 480 calls with a collection to either 1400 shared van or 800 with collection (hybrid ) how do they expect people to walk 6hours solid 6 days a week !!? we are human not robots and its a DISGRACE whats happening now and sad i have said to myself not to post or view this forum anymore as its upsetting , but glad to know im not only one feeling sick with it all
