Managers Bonuses

Can anyone actually confirm that the managers got, or are getting a bonus? And if so, how much?
They are being very cagey at our office and denying everything.

yes managers got a bonus,, shop floor managers got £1000 and office managers got £1500 to £2500,,, fact... i got this from a senior manager who understands posties plight and is sympathetic to delivery staff................. just to add to that DSM and above got £7500 and upwards.......... how bad is that.......... posties will be getting nothing..........

This is the one for DOMS.

1. 10% – RM Letters profit with an additional 5% if the stretch target is achieved.

2. 20% – Region annual total cost budget with an additional 5% if the stretch target is achieved.

3. 30% – Delivery Office annual operations budget target with an additional 10% if the delivery office annual budget target is beaten by at least 1%

4. 16% – Local PCA 1st class delivered E2E with an additional 3.5% if the stretch target is achieved.

5. 4% - National 1st class stamped & metered (retail) E2E with an additional 0.25% if the stretch target is achieved.

6. 4% - National 2nd class stamped & metered (retail) E2E with an additional 0.25% if the stretch target is achieved.

7. 4% – National 1st class bulk E2E with an additional 0.25% if the stretch target is achieved.

8. 4% – National 2nd bulk class E2E with an additional 0.25% if the stretch target is achieved.

9. 4% – National 3rd bulk class E2E with an additional 0.25% if the stretch target is achieved.

10. 4% – National Special Delivery with an additional 0.25% if the stretch target is achieved.

Just remember that the percentage quoted above are a percent of the 10% bonus pot, so for example if they( RM) hit target 1 (RM letters profit) they would get 10% of the 10% bonus pot awarded so that would be 1% overall.

It was in a table that didn't paste across with the same formatting but objectives 1 to 3 were Shareholder targets and account for 60% of the pot. The others are Customer/Regulator Targets and account for 40%.
So to make it as clear as mud if we hit objective 1 a Dom would get 10% of the 60% pot of the total 10% of gross pay possible.

I realise that Delivery office managers are often Dumped on from above.
Must be annoying though if you're trying to sort your Office out, with the correct length of Duties, enough Full Time Staff etc and you're Manager's stopping you because he's worried about "His" bonus. Which seems to be about £5000 more than his!

Latest cock up we've got is RM reckon (read Area Manager ) they haven't got enough money to Re-train everyone on the Proposed Revised Duties, perhaps they expect us to do them blind?

It stinks. Without managers the company will do well and without posties no one can make any money as there is no one to deliver and do the footwork. I think we should get bigger bonus than managers. I am cheesed off not getting a bonus this year.

The same way that Bankers could get bonuses before and after getting multibillion pound bailouts from the Government, to prevent the Banks going bankrupt. Senior Managers (and in the case of RM, even low level Managers) think they have a right to bonuses, even when they fail dramatically. Yet the ones who actually WORK for a living, AREN'T entitled to anything, even when they greatly increase the amount of work they do. Yes, I know that Managers duties are very stressful. But there's no comparison, between the amount of effort they need to put in, and the amount of effort the workers put in. Which is hysterically evident, when they try to fill in for OPGs, if the Agency lets them down, at peak periods.
