We have been having a rather light summer with the mail pretty low, so mangers come to us last week and asked us to sign a sheet saying no extra summer walk to be absorbed this summer but instead throw off a walk in the office in case of knock ups.
So now the managers are seeing light days and they are telling us go and get some packets off the drivers yorks at least 2 and deliver them or they will bring them to you. Ask why? they tell you the driver is on leave.
Our union rep and our manager had a agreement with the Saturday situation as job and finish, so most posties don’t take the break on a Saturday or come in early. So much for signing the sheets about no absorption, a knock up Saturday changed all that they bullied us into absorption.
Bang out of order. Next time this happens the whole office should walk out!

There is a REASON that the driver is taking them!
