Our Rep is about to resign his position after failing to get any support from his union area rep. He has faught for every one of us without fail. When one of our memebers was on the operating table and a previous manager was trying against legal procedure to sack this poor man he faught for him. There are over a dozen others whom he has help keep in employment even through unscupulous manangement were prepared to act outside the legal framework to remove them illegally. i would just like to add that it is not going un-noticed that unions are far from reluctant to remove management that continuously act illegally and outside the RM rules and regulations (and by continously i mean for many years) I and others are in disscusion on whether it is worth paying for a union that has very little 'envolvement' with the common worker? this is a sad day :sad:

Write CWU HQ for mis-representation and follow this up a call to H.R. stopping your subs... :arrrghhh

i have never called on the CWU as much as i have in the last 2 years, management have gone totaly :crazy:

ziko, same sort of thing in our office mate but i have to say our area rep is very good.

RMC is helpful at times too

Ziko is say that he is not getting the support from the CWU Rep... I agree there are some good reps out there ..Not many.
