Security Checks Passed, Now waiting for start date...

Hi, i've passed the security checks for a job as posty/van driver and am now waiting for a start date. anyone know how long they take to get back to you?

It took them about 2 weeks for the check to be completed and for them to get back to me with a start date.

It took them 3 months to get back to me! Even then it was to tell me hadnt got the job and was being put on the waiting list. Then another 2 days later got the job!

Two blokes interviewed last week, started this Tuesday, about seven days from Interview to start.

To be honest each office will be different. If you have had an interview and have passed the security checks, which you should do unless you have a criminal history thats not spent, then its a case of waiting till a position becomes available.
