Just want to confirm that Bankable hours is still not part of the agreement?
During most weeks at my office most people still finish and go home well before their time. Several hours in some cases. On my round I sometimes finish about 30-45 minutes early on some days. Most days near or just over the time. Also in our office we have short and long days and if your day off falls on one of those short days your working hours are 25 minutes shorter on the other days. This still strikes me as crazy as the mail is still the same, yet you can have 25 minutes more or less extra to deliver it in.
Next week which is of course only 3 working days I am due to complete 25 minutes earlier. But overtime has ceased in our office since budget cutbacks last year and cutting off is a counselling issue now! So guess that I am due to be counselled quite a bit!!
DIMS only suggestion in the past if you work over your time is to come in later the next day- if agreeded in advance! But that only increases the chances of running over your time the next day!!

Banking hrs is not part of any 'national' agreement.
You DO NOT owe hrs if you finish early.
30 mins flexing is,you work 30mins longer one day and get the 30mins back another day in the same week.

carnt bank hours and can only ask if you want to work 30 minuite over (flex) and give it back nxt day,if you dont want to work over they can never make you.
