our office is a shambles at the minute we currently have No Rubber bands, No Kill off stickers, No form left cards, no spare bags, no pens, no cycle helmets for new starters. So basically everyday is like a scavenger hunt for these items, the ones i have im forced to hide as everybody is on the scrounge and its the only way to get the job done efficiently. Poor new starter had to use packet bags to take his round out, i took pity and gave him my spares (light day) but probably wont see them again tomorrow. Is it similar in other offices or is this just another of Royal mails cutback schemes? Why cant managers order these things before they run out?

Exactly the same except for cycle helmets as we don't use cycles.

elastic bands are non existant in our DO at the mo.

we usually run out around times of IA.

i am taking a ball of string in tomorrow to bundle up.

When i undo my bundle i put the bands in my pocket,so 2moro i will have bands and so on. Eventually these are going to snap but until then thats my solution

RM aren't struggling to pay the suppliers are they ? .

It is the PHG's job to keep the stocks supplied in our office. That is my job and I make sure that I order plenty in advance. No problems ordering any supplies at all.

OPG, there's no PHGs anymore, we are all equal in the eyes of RM, indoor worker, outdoor worker, male, female, full time and part tim...........well maybe not so much equal

Not true RM sent me a letter within the last year with my grade clearly shown as PHG!
Once a PHG always a PHG!
