Bit confused, have been signed of work and I am under physio, got a letter today my manager decieded to post it on a sunday asking me to attend a meeting regarding me returning to work. i cannot believe he would come to my door on a sunday, whats he up to and is it aloud

I'm in the same boat, just had knee operation and off for a few weeks.
Don't attend any meeting until you are fit to be back at work, and don't be pressured into returning before you are due to. ATOS will try and get you back to work on light duties but in my experience there is no such thing as light duties for a postie, a guy in my office did that and ended up sorting out out paper work for our DOM... f**k that!!!

If you've a docs cert then ignore any back to work shite,and they can only 'ask' to refer you to ATOS,none of this come and have a chat bollox.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
