START TIME CHANGES

Are offices obligated to change their start times if the walk sequence arrivals change but we are not getting delivery methods till next year. Cant find
nowt in the agreement about this scenario and if so do we get £600

We had a vote bout starting later next month when the walk sequencing starts and we all said no. You dont get any of the bonus for just receiving walk sequenced mail it has to involve a revision as well. The only reason why the sequenced mail is being hurried in with or without a revision is that RM get fined if it aint in by Feb. We start alot later now than say 5 years ago so best to keep your present starting time for as long as possible cause it will change again come a revision.

Screw them, make it 9 to 5, just means even more cut offs

Our start times are effected by the timings of the mail trucks. The local mail centre is obviously having their revisions, and their trucks are leaving later. This has a knock on effect.
If there's no mail you honestly can't expect to still come in early and stand around doing nothing. We're still in disagreement over the proposed revision and it's been through several re-incarnations. So we're still not sure what time we'll end up coming in.
The DIM has realised that if he doesn't make a good revision, which is do-able, he's just going to end up with an office full of Posties either bending his ear every day or cutting off. Credit where it's due he is listening to the Rep and testing walks to try and get it right!
