Yeah they always do that, it snows and they keep us in but it turns to ice which is a lot worse and they send us out.

My driveway round the back of the flat looks like that lethal ice sheet that we had around these parts on Wednesday 23rd December (seeing people walk fast than cars could safely travel was quite memorable!). If its like this round your way, take care getting in and insist you do not deliver today! :cuppa

Sad thing is I'm already wondering how my high street walk frame looks on Monday when I return from hols... Is it clear, or is there a silly backlog? :mad

3 of us went on our collective arses yesterday,filled in the report,heres the manager "You ALLEGEDLY fell on the drive at No** ***** street I say allegedly cos i wasn't there to witness it" aye,im feckin lying you fat twat,thats why it took me 6.5 hrs to finish

Boys - all joking aside, do you wear snow chains, they are just as effective on ice, I haven't slipped over at all this year.....quite simply they are brilliant :)

I got "spikeys' earlier in the week and thought they were ok, but got chains this morning and I'd have to agree, they were brilliant on ice covered by a thin layer of snow.
