hi everyone we have just finished trialling our revision and we were due to sign it off yesterday. but then the area dom says they have run the computer program again and originally made a mistake and now they want more hours out.(the first run thru was checked by dom,me area rep and area dom plus the so called iwt expert and the plan was put in place and agreed by all) the area dom is coming in to speak to me tommorrow about it. the area rep says i need to put in a disagreement. how do i go about this? the office is up in arms and threatening to pull the plug on all xmas o/t. im just about keeping the lid on it at the mo. any advice more than welcome

You have them right where you want them, xmas just around the corner any dom making changes to agreed changes is just asking for trouble.

Did they "originally made a mistake" after they found that the revision worked? Or was your revision like most of the others and an un-mitigated disaster?

the revision was working (altho to be fair it was a tiny revision) but now they r saying the establishment was wrong originally

write a letter to your dom which states the following> i wish to issue you with a stage one disagreement in line with the ir framework because of etc give him a copy keep a copy for yourself and pass one on to your area rep. finish it off with please reply to me in writing within the ir framework timescales . job done!! :mfo

Here is a joke one I made in answer to a similar question a few years ago.

The general idea is to have a covering letter outlining the situation and then create a table such as the example below, going into more details.

why "keep a lid on"?
if everyone is pissed off then leave your dom in the s**t,it will teach him/her a valuable lesson.

thanks for the replies. myself and the branch r going thru the establishment now. no disagreement put in as yet. its not this doms fault (he is a good guy believe it or not lol) but it looks like it goes back to a previous dom f***ing up the establishment and hiding it lol. so the s/s revision has been physically done but the savings have not been made on the admin side yet because of the problems with the establishment. i and the troops have been asked to give the management team 7 to 10 days to sort it b4 taking action. so watch this space
