Is This Harassment?

Heard this one today.

In one office around here (very poor strike turnout, about 18 in out of 40), one picket was informed by his Dum that to take note of those attending work was harassment, and he would be dealt with as such.

Surely this is not the case?

Unbelievably, in the same office today, the Dum was handing out overtime to a member of staff, because he was on leave on Saturday.

I think I'm going to scream!

I would say it depends what you do with the information, also if you make a mental note of those who attended for work, how can he prove anything.As for handing out o/t that could be misconstrued as favouritism.

was on picket line saturday and was about to write some names on a pad of paper when i realised i had forgotten a pen and all the guys on the line didnt have a pen

so walked over to our DUM and asked to borrow his pen before he had a chance to say no i wipped it out of his shirt pocket and wrote the names in my scab book and passed it back

the look on his face was feckin priceless
