just been sent home suspened for not endorsing 4 letters, 12 months into my 2 year, ags sent tonnes of the stuff back nothing said,

got a letter today from my line manager he has passed it on to the office manager as he said he has no afority to deal with this,

so just what are they there for

Unfortunately it means they are passing it up to a manager, usually the DSM, who has the authority to dismiss. Line-managers and most DOM's cannot sack you
