Getting very close to balloting CWU mbrs, big boss man wants the revision in before Xmas. Only benefit to that is £200 before Xmas rather than after. Members on rural dels would be peeved if revison takes place before Xmas as they are concerned they will loose out on their expected Xmas tips.

i heard it does not matter as much if they fail the USO at xmas. So maybe thats why they are pushing ahead at the busiest time of the year so any cut offs/cock ups will not really matter till January when they will of sorted it lol

Say has most offices gone to 4hr 15min delivery spans. TBH ours look MASSIVE. One round now has 1200 calls :mfo

Revision still needs to be voted in and deployed and a FT contract offered and signed.

However the FT vacancy level in relation to the actual FT staffing level that will be needed means its simply a matter of when and not if.

Now if you will excuse me Ive some ballot papers to print and number. Ballot starts tommrow.

In our office of 9 people we absorbed 30 hours in doing so the added houses have put some of the walks up to and above 850 this in turn keeps us out beyond or time hence we claim overtime or manager said that this is not saving the office money so the 1st 200 pounds will not be paid to us can this be right.He is also adamant that no other offices in Northern Ireland are working to there time and bringing the mail back something that we told him we where prepared to do rather than claim overtime,can anyone enlighten me.
