XMAS eve specials
Last posting date for specials is 23rd Dec,so xmas eve we could be seriously hammered with them,wtf is that all about.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Every Xmas Eve they get us afternoon staff (as I was back then) in for the morning to do all the specials and parcels etc, basically our Saturday duties. There's no vans for us to go out and do these duties and we're told to wait until someone comes back with a van before we can go out
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

Special Deliveries that are going to be after 1p.m. should then be left in the cage for either a driver/Dom to deal with!

and along with the 20% of d2d's we will have to do on xmas eve as well. All our specials are done by our drivers, walkers dont do any.

normally our drivers do all the specials but at christmas this year, because they've said we can't have any more vans, dom has said footmen will be doing the smaller ones to take pressure off the drivers. wonder how many will not get delivered for 1pm?al64 wrote:All our specials are done by our drivers, walkers dont do any.
