Career break from royal mail

i am looking to take a career break from royal mail my manager says i have to speak to HR....HR are saying i have to speak to my manager. at present all i need is proof that royal mail let staff take career breaks without having to resign.

can any one help??

I'm also potentially interested in some form of carreer break from RM, but cant open the file from the link, could someone post it up in this thread or possibly summarize it?

Its been a few years since anyone,s done this at my office :hmmmm

Were all brainwashed now. :left:

I'm looking to do this at some point. I want to travel the States for 6 months then possibly go over to Australia and other parts of the world.

My dom will probably ask me to take a pouch of international items to deliver on my travels though.
