legal or illegal?

Post by somerset »

Got back to office today to find on everyones frame an A4 begging letter from DOM :mad Basically asks if you wish to work on strike day call such and such number ( scab hotline ) You can work at any office! Then it says you our not allowed to picket at another office as it is illegal? So is he telling the truth? As i would love to tell him to get his bloody facts right :nana

Yes unfortunately he is right its called flying picketing and Maggie (I think) made it illegal.

Certain Union officials are allowed to go to other pickets in support but II think its Area Reps and upwards.

Sadly. it is true. TBT is right.

flyin pickets

Need to check but dont think that anyone can stop you from being a demonstrator. Might be a loop hole that would allow you to travel, but you could not be on the picket line. Will try to find out for def and get back to you.

Jan, you're right. But whilst the DOM's or IB may say this there is nothing that can be done about passers by visiting the picket line so long they are there just asing questions, just look at the BAD NEWS "NDO - 6 pickets & 15 passers by?

f**k the law. while we stick to the law this strike is a dead duck, we all know this undesirable truth. every time we give notice of a planned action the pimps and gangster just plan to counter it. we are just chasing our own tails and all the time the ruling class, gangsters, pimps and the land owners are laughing at us. we are all, by birth members of the proletariat and as members of the proletariat we are at war, constantly. we must break the law, send flying pickets to strike breaking offices and twat the bastards, call unannounced strike days. a bad law is there to be broken - how the hell do you think we got holidays, pensions and better working conditions? we got them by fighting for them and not by standing still to be knocked down.

hello Boris interesting post you made?
Calm down m8 and chill out big time!!!!!!!!!! :no no
You dont walk in her today and demand what you state m8 troublemakers like your post states, cause more problems for our Union to organise a well disciplined picket line controlled by an offical member designated by the CWU such as Area rep's etc. Your attitude is one of a hell bent mischief maker that CWU can do well with out!
What an entrance by you maybe your exit will be dismissal by RM for causing a scene of unruly behaviour use your brain mate! dont give them amunition to discipline you.
