help with sabbatical leave

Hi, Ive been a postman for just over 2 years now,up untill a month ago i was only part time and planned to save money and leave to go traveling,now after i have already applied for my visas ect ive been given a full time postion which i didnt hesitate to accept.Ive only just heard about this sabbatical leave and was looking for more information on it and how i go about getting it?
