If door to doors are now classed as part of the normal workload, then surely if we take them home to collate them, we could claim overtime for that?

I used to take them home to collate them, but ever since losing the payment, I have refused to do so, but if we could claim overtime for it, we could surely make back some of the money we have lost.

What do you think?

I don't think taking "live mail" home is a good idea.
It may well be a sackable offence.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

If you go past your due finishing time because of the extra work (which is now part of Workload) you can claim overtime, its as simple as that. You should not ever take any mail home though!
personally I will be cutting off if I cannot complete in future!

You have time (haha) within your duty to collate/put them together/throw them up so don't take them home. Plus, you'll probably end up getting sacked for taking mail home.

Do them at work, get paid, claim overtime if you go over. Simples :wink:

I really can't believe some of the threads some people start on here. A Brick, wall, banging, head, your against. Make sense to ya? You go to work, you work your hours, you go home. Never in 11 years have i taken anything home to collate or anything else involving RM. WORK THE HOURS YOU'RE PAID FOR!!!!!!
