Apparently an adaptation of this is going to be on TV this weekend.

I like the "It turns out that the Post Office has not functioned for decades, and the building is full of undelivered mail, concealed under a layer of pigeon dung."

That never happened and even if it did it was no-ones fault....and that's official so it must be true.

I ve read the book and its so true to life. Esp the bit where the posties had less and less time to deliver the mail so they had to cut off and bring it back to in the end you could not move in the office due to the mass of un-delivered letters

I watched it and thought it was quite good but i am a Pratchett fan anyway (well maybe more his old stuff). Look forward to the 2nd episode.

I just watched it on sky player and loved it! I think it is better than the previous Sky One Discworld adaptations. I've read loads of discworld books but never actually read going postal so I cannot compare it to that.

You need to read the book.
As always it goes into more detail and a lots missing in the sky version (although its still good). You will love the parts about the old posties.
