May 7th Lump sum £400 for part timers? agreement broken !
in regards to the £400 pound bribe, what will the part timers like myself get, in the agreement it says 400 for all employees, but surely this is pro rata?, my union rep insists it will be £400. If as i expect it is pro rata, then the agreement would have been invalidated immediately as they have broken a term of it. It says the d2d payment will be pro rata and the additional transformation lump sums as well but not the may 7th!

Re: May 7th Lump sum £400 for part timers?
The £400 payment next friday is definatley pro rata, it works out at £10 for each hour in your contract.
For example 30 hours= £300, 25 hours=£250 etc.
For example 30 hours= £300, 25 hours=£250 etc.

I can see what you're getting at, it doesn't mention pro rata does it! but i wouldn't hold out too much hope, i've only ever known lump sums be paid pro rata for PT....and i can't see it changing.

Re: May 7th Lump sum £400 for part timers?
D'you know tt, you may well have a point, after all the agreement is the agreement and the words of the agreement have to be adhered to by both parties soooooooooooooooo if it says ALL employees it must mean ALL employees will receive the same amount - after all the ballot was taken on the contents of the agreement - even though we didn't receive a copy - and if people didn't realise that it was pro rata then it could be a mis-ballot and would have to be rerun with the wording of the agreement amended accordingly - tut tut.tragictramp wrote:below is the full info from the agreement ive highlighted what i find to be debatable!

Re: May 7th Lump sum £400 for part timers?
i expect it to be pro rata tbh, just if this document is an agreement it should be followed, ill find out thursday like u said, but i think ill take it higher if it is pro rata as its a blatant lie in print!, if they cant write an agreement out after many months of negotiations without proof reading it for errors then its their hard luck.
If my reps been fooled by it how many others have?, it may have swung votes for some parters!

The CS dividends have allways been pro rata,
However 2010 reward section says
YEAR 1
£400 lump sum (previously final ColleagueShares dividend) paid to all employees upon ratification of agreement.
But the LTB 375/10 said The £400 lump sum (previous ColleagueShare dividend / paid pro-rata part time) due upon ratification of the agreement will also be paid on the 7th May 2010.

Ah! That's only an LTB - the reward section is part of the JOINT agreement which we voted on NOT the LTB.Big Daz wrote:The CS dividends have allways been pro rata,
