Peugeot BIPPER vans

I maybe wrong (I've only driven one on normal rutted roads), but I pity anyone on a rural who gets a Peugeot BIPPER van, (I believe some have been ordered), if you haven't got a bad back and a flat head, (from it hitting the roof), then you may have after a very short period of driving one of these up rutted lanes.
Mind you that might be better than the leg ache received from balling out of a Corsa van 150 times a day.

I've had a bipper for about two months and find it okay to drive, crap space in the back but miles better on my knees compared to the combo I used to have. We had another 2 delivered this week.

Buddy SLOW DOWN

I have to drive up a mud road to a farm and have done so all RM vans over the years and they are just fine if you take it steady. Drive to fast and you will always bounce about. You should have tried a Sherpa

They've ordered quite a few Bippers I believe.

One thing that did catch my eye was the statement that they wouldn't be suitable for van sharing. So it's basically only going to be for those on rural routes then isn't it?!

My brother just bought a Citroen Nemo (rebadged bipper) for his own buisness, ive driven it and think its far better to drive than the combos.

Get rid of the combos and roll out the bippers please RM.

Sorry. What's a new van ? No 10 reg vans at our office. No 59 reg vans. No 09 reg vans. Nothing for nearly two years now

We had the next one up on hire. The rear was fitted with wood panels to protect the back.
EVERY dip, rut, hole was like being on the HMS Victory...creaking, cracking noises, bloody loud too.
But overall I didn't mind the drive except some rear/side door key hassle.

Oh, and the gorgeous blonde bird from "My Family" is the voice on the TV adverts, so...I gotta say, great van!

Jez.!!Sherpas.My god,they are the bouncearound vans from hell .Many a time my specs have fallen off due to the poxy suspension of these vans.

Think yourselfs lucky we're still driving around in 3, 02 hi-tops which are falling to bits and an 02 sherpa!!

Proud driver of the 1st Bipper at our office ! Find it good to get in and out of if a little sluggish. Load space is tiny and struggle to fit my rural in, need to use the front seat. Reversing sensors help, all in all, thumbs up, better than the vauxhall but used to love my little transit connect

My Rural includes a stretch where I have to get in and out about 60 times in just over an hour, the Fiat I have is great for this, I just think doing it in one of these will be a back breaker

I think they need to warm up quite a bit before they pull properly as i thought they were a bit slow to pick up at first. The little transits felt better built somehow, maybe less plasticky.

At least there a bit more up to date electric windows reversing sensers and CD player where the hell did they manage to still get cassette players from for the Fords and Vauxhall thought they went out with the ark.
