was thinking about this the other day sad aint i
royal mail want to uncap d2d put out as many as they can good business yes
royal mail want to drop price of d2d to attract more and compete with other companies yes
what have the gvmnt and post com said about this
can rm be allowed to drop prices to take business from other companies re unfair competition rules
rem d2d to be incorperated into workload ie. live mail
nows my question why then are rm not allowed to under cut competition regards dsa mail its live mail
just as d2d will be
nobody smell a rat here
obviously rm dont want to pursue competition only to pander to them
our mail centres distribution etc would blow all the private companies out the water
as well as us delivering the whole lot
our own cwu must have reasons for not pursuing dsa as they have members in private companies
who are they really protecting
gvment policy of slashing wages globallised wage dumping check it out
rm policy of shutting mail centres 50% now what 3 years down the line
of turning workforce pt dont be kidded about protecting ft jobs
ask your dom whos getting made up ft when vavancy appears
rm dont want to compete only to surrender and serve privatisation and big business
and to think what greatness our company used to be
were being led down a path here and it aint looking rosy at the end

Re: d2d pricing and uncapping
Not wishing to ruin a good conspiracy theory, but wouldn't the reason be the fact that D2D is not a regulated product whereas DSA competition is, meaning that whatever price RM charge for the product impacts the price the DSA companies pay?
I thought this was the reason for developing new (unregulated) products like Tracked Packets, because as products outside of regulation RM can charge what they like for them and in doing so try to compete and win business?
